Here’s What It Takes When You Run Windows 8

The technology is really revolving so fast. Was that only yesterday that I was introduced to Windows 7? And here’s Windows 8 ready to kick in. I was first informed to Windows 8 when it was advertised in TV and from then on I was very amazed with the features especially when you used the most advance notebook or laptop or touchscreen monitors because you can just choose it through monitors, it would be like touch and go for the website that you want to pick, isn’t that amazing. For Windows 8, the processor would be 1 gigahertz or even faster if it is supported with PAE, (Physical Address Extension) NX (NX processor bit) and SSE2 (Streaming SIMD Extensions) so what are those? For PAE, it enables 32-bit processors to attain more than 4 GB of the capable version of Windows and it should be prerequisite for NX. What is NX? NX helps guard the PC from malicious software. SSE2 is an instruction set used by third party apps and drivers. Without these 3, you won’t be able to install Windows 8. My friend also told me, you should have to have the Windows 7 Pro so you can upgrade it to Windows 8.

The Ram for Windows 8 is 1 gigabyte that’s 32 bit or 2 GB for 64 bit. The hard disk space for Windows 8 is 16 GB 32 bit or 20 GB thatis 64 bit. They used Microsoft DirectX 9 for graphics card it is a 9 graphics device with WDDM driver. So those are the features and what it takes if you use the Windows 8. For me, I don’t usually care if I have the most vintage OS as long as it is fast to browsing and I could do my online task and it will not hang me in the middle of my writings, that’s good enough for me. I am using the Windows 7 Home now and so far so good.
